CLINIC AREA
"We clean each clinic a little bit differently, depending on the preference of the staff and the requirements of the building."
- Machines are pulled out, swept and mopped underneath, EVERY NIGHT.
- All trash is collected and disposed of properly.
- Trash bags are replaced in a neat way, so you can use them without fixing them in the morning.
- If taping of the large trash bags are necessary for proper use, we're happy to do it.
- When the bottoms of trash cans become dirty, we clean them.
- All dirty and clean sinks are disinfected and cleaned.
- All exposed surfaces and countertops are cleaned and disinfected.
- All chairs are either locked or not, depending on the preference of the staff of each location.
- Everything is put back into its place in an orderly manner, and we will communicate with staff making sure we have everything where it is supposed to be for the beginning of their shift.
WAITING AREA / LOBBY
"Waiting areas are where your patients and their families often spend a lot of time, so we do the same."
- All exposed surfaces cleaned and disinfected.
- Chairs are cleaned thoroughly, including the armrests and the legs.
- Chairs are moved and the floor is swept and mopped and/or vacuumed underneath.
- Magazines are straightened.
- All glass partitions and front facing windows cleaned on both sides.
RESTROOMS
"We clean the restrooms the way they we would at our own home. All sides of the toilet bowl are cleaned nightly, including the harder to reach areas."
- Toilet disinfected and cleaned, including the bottom and sides.
- Mirror and chrome fixtures are left shining.
- Paper towels, bathroom tissue, and soap refilled, keeping your waste in mind.
- Floors are swept and mopped thoroughly.
- Sink is cleaned and disinfected.
- Any other furniture cleaned.
- Any decorative plants are dusted nightly.
KITCHEN / EMPLOYEE LOUNGE
"The kitchen is where the staff should be able to relax and enjoy their lunch in a clean environment. We take extra care to help you do so."
- Coffee pots are cleaned nightly.
- Refrigerator dirty? Mark what you want to keep and we will clean it out for you!
- Floors are swept and mopped thoroughly to remove food residue.
- Although dish washing is not in our scope, we will gladly clean a few if they are left in the sink.
- Cabinet surfaces are wiped nightly and spills that drip into them cleaned as well.
OFFICES
"Top to bottom, from stapler to chair mat, we've got you covered. Bookshelf dusty? We'll get it all with our initial clean."
- Desktops and workstations are cleaned and disinfected in a manner as to not disrupt any work being done.
- All exposed surfaces cleaned and disinfected.
- Floors swept, mopped, and/or vacuumed.
- Telephones cleaned and disinfected nightly.
- Chairs, including the bottom of chairs are cleaned.
- All locked offices are locked again before finishing.
STORAGE ROOMS / CLOSETS
"We consider storage rooms and closets to be within our scope of work unless otherwise instructed. Whenever we are able to get around in them we will do the following."
- Swept and mopped and/or vacuumed.
- Machine scrubbed regularly to remove buildup and waxed where applicable.
- Every building is different. If you have a specific need anywhere, including in storage rooms, we will happily take care of it.
WATER ROOMS
"Biocarbonate is everyone's least favorite familiar thing in the Dialysis world. We'll keep it to a minimum in the Water Rooms."
- Swept and mopped.
- Loose trash collected.
- Machine scrubbing of floors to prevent buildup done regularly.
- Anything else that needs to be done in water rooms, will be.
CONFERENCE ROOMS
"For however often you may use the Conference Room, we will keep it clean and those fancy chairs dust free."
- Sweep / mop / vacuum as needed.
- Clean and disinfect all exposed surfaces.
- Wood polish will be used if necessary to maintain any wood furniture.
- Blinds dusted regularly.
- Straighten chairs and pamphlets to keep a neat appearance.
PD ROOMS
"PD Rooms need to be cleaned and sanitized like any other area where patients are treated."
- PD Rooms are treated as an extension of the treatment area, even if they are not connected.
- Chair and machine swept and mopped underneath.
- All sinks cleaned an sanitized.
- Soaps and paper towel dispensers refilled.
- All horizontal surfaces cleaned and sanitized nightly.
HALLWAYS
"Easily overlooked, hallways are an important part of the nightly cleaning process of a Dialysis Center. We'll keep them clean."
- All of the glass partitions are cleaned nightly.
- Door frames and doors are cleaned nightly, including around the handle and push plates.
- Carpet in the hallways is vacuumed nightly.
- Floors get swept and mopped, of course.
- Stains that appear on walls are wiped clean if possible. Stain erasers are effective on tougher stains.
- Care taken not to get water on carpets while mopping close to floor transitions.
